The Intense Series
Consisting of three models—the INT-152 and 252 full range systems, plus the INT-118S subwoofer—the Intense Series delivers high-end performance at a competitive price. Key features of the 152 and 252 include 34mm titanium compression drivers with Cerwin-Vega’s HighRoad horn, which features a larger diaphragm than competing models and delivers higher sound pressure levels with lower distortion. Since the crossover runs at lower frequencies, you'll hear improved off-axis response and increased mid-range vocal intelligibility. Both systems use 15-inch woofers with 2.5-inch voice coils and include the ergonomically optimized VegaGrip™ handles for easy transport.

Rated at 600 watts with a frequency response of 50 Hz - 20 kHz, the 152 is a 2-way design employing a single 15-inch woofer. It makes a terrific stand-alone sound reinforcement solution, and with the pole cup on the enclosure’s underside, it makes a great top box—complementing the 118S subwoofer.

The 252 is a 2-way passive reflex design featuring dual 15-inch woofers. The 252 makes an exceptional choice used stand-alone, arrayed, or used in conjunction with the 118S subwoofer. It is rated at 1000 watts with a frequency response of 45 Hz – 20 kHz.

The 118S subwoofer features a single 18-inch transducer with a cast aluminum frame for added strength and reliability. The subwoofer employs a 3-inch voice coil— the largest in its class—delivering sustained high power handling capability. With a frequency response of 38 Hz to 500 Hz, the 118S is rated at 1000 watts. The perfect compliment to the 152 and 252, the 118S includes a universal pole mount and VegaGrip handles. All models include quarter-inch phone and Neutrik Speakon™ connectors.

Vega!Bass Series
Cerwin-Vega wrote the book on bass management, and nowhere is this more evident than with the Vega!Bass folded horn subwoofers. These three models—the JE-36B, EL-36B, and AB-36B—utilize an incredibly efficient folded hyperbolic horn design that enables the enclosure to contain a longer horn that amplifies the bass frequencies while keeping the enclosure compact. The path length and flare rate yields a theoretical cutoff of 30 Hz of bone crushing low end. All models include quarter-inch phone and Neutrik Speakon™ connectors,plus integrated wheels for easy transport.

With a frequency response of 35 Hz - 300 Hz (JE -36B) and 30 Hz - 300 Hz (EL-36B), these subwoofers feature 18-inch woofers with 3-inch voice coils for sustained power handling and performance. They include universal pole mounts, making them ideal companions to numerous full range top boxes. Both models are terrific for live sound, mobile DJ, and club applications.

With the highest power and program handling capabilities in the line, the AB-36B utilizes an 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil and a front panel design that acts as a convection heat sink to provide increased thermal power handling with decreased power compression. Like its siblings, the AB-36B incorporates a universal pole mount, integrated wheels, and the choice of either gray carpet or textured black paint finish.
