Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The 250dfx is great for novice to intermediate players. This is not an amp to buy if you want a bunch of bells and whistles and crazy other things included with your amp. This amp will give you those clean, warm, nasty bluesy tones common with Marshall amps.
